Get ready for a special encounter with some of the Zoo’s friendliest and furriest animals! Visitors can feed the goats daily 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; pellets must be purchased. The Milwaukee County Zoo is home to more than 30 Nigerian dwarf goats. Nigerian dwarf goats—smallest of the dairy breeds—are gentle, even-tempered and wonderful with children. Fun fact: The Zoo’s goats produce milk yummy enough to drink and can be found in butter, cheese, ice cream, soaps and lotions at your grocery store!
Please remember to wash your hands after petting the goats, or any of the Farm animals.
The Goat Yard closes 30 minutes prior to the Zoo closing; the Farm 15 minutes prior.
