Goat Yard
Located in the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm
Bring your camera for this special chance to get up close to—and feed!—some of the friendliest and furriest animals on the Zoo’s farm. The Milwaukee County Zoo is home to more than 30 Nigerian dwarf goats. Nigerian dwarf goats—smallest of the dairy breeds—are gentle, even tempered and wonderful with children. Fun fact: The Zoo’s goats produce milk yummy enough to drink and can be found in butter, cheese, ice cream, soaps and lotions at your grocery store!
