Primary Diet: Grasses, herbs, weeds and leaves
Adult Weight: Male - 470 to 680 pounds
Female - 350 to 400 pounds

A waterbuck’s long hair is waterproofed by skin glands that produce a tar-like grease that smells like turpentine.
