Native to: Eastern and southern Africa
Primary Diet: Leaves, flowers, fruits, tubers and shoots
Adult Weight: Male – 420 to 700 pounds
Female – 265 to 475 pounds
Status: Stable
Greater Kudu are the second tallest antelope, with eland being the tallest. If alarmed, they will stand still and be difficult to spot due to their camouflaged coloring. Despite their large size, they can jump over eight feet high.
