The Milwaukee County Zoo is a fascinating world of wild mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. We have something for everyone. Consider holding your next party, reception, cocktail party, business meeting or class reunion in one of the following fascinating indoor or outdoor facilities.


Indoor Areas

Peck Welcome Center:
This facility located inside the Zoo grounds, can hold up to 500 guests, it's spacious, with large glass windows, a parquet wood floor and high ceilings. We include seating for up to 320 people.

-Rental Fee:
$1,200 + $2.00 per person 6 p.m. to Midnight

Zoofari Conference Center:
This large hall located outside of the Zoo grounds, has a permanent stage and parquet wood dance floor holding up to 300 guests. You can divide the room to accommodate the smaller group for a daytime business meeting. We include seating for up to 300 people.

-Rental Fee:
Daytime $400 / Evening $1,000 6 p.m. to Midnight

Animal buildings are available for a unique party setting:

-Aquatic and Reptile Center:
Accommodates up to 125 guests. Rental Fee: $800

-Feline Building:
Accommodates up to 100 guests. Rental Fee: $800

-Apes of Africa or Primates of the World:
Accommodates up to 100 each or 250 combined. Rental Fee: $800 each

Note: There are restrictions on music and hours in the animal buildings. Seating is not provided by the zoo in any animal buildings.

Outdoor Picnic Areas

-Maple Cove or Oak Grove:
$600 each + per person rate
Each area holds a minimum 500 or 5,000 guests when combined.

-Zoo Terrace:
$600 + per person rate
Designed for groups of 350 - 700 guests.

-Little Oak:
$500 + per person rate
Designed for groups of up to 300 guests.

-Australian Outback:
$500 + per person rate

-Brown Bear Den:
$500 + per person rate

All picnic areas are furnished with electricity and water. All building and picnic rentals are by contract and paid deposit only.

Group Rates

The Milwaukee County Zoo welcomes your group to Wisconsin's premiere attraction, with more than 200 acres and 300 animal species. We offer discounted ticket pricing for groups of 20 or more.  Special payment options are available for groups entering by bus.

For School and Educational Group Rates, Please Call the Zoological Society Education Department at 414.258.5058.

-Group Rates:
— Adult or Senior $8.25
— Child (age 3 to 12) $5.25
— Bus Parking $14

-Group Requirements:
— All groups must pre-register or purchase advance tickets two weeks prior to visit.

— Groups must consist of 20 or more.
— No refunds may be given to groups.

School Group Rates

-Milwaukee County School/Youth Groups

January 1 through March 31, 2008

Monday through Friday only
: Free admission with official registration.
Weekends: $4.50 for grades 8 and below; $7.50 for grades 9 and above.

One chaperone per 10 students is admitted free with chaperone pass provided by the Education Department.

Parking: $10 per car / van
$14 per bus.


April 1 through October 31, 2008

Every Wednesday: $3.50 for grades 8 and below; $6 for grades 9 and above. No free chaperones, please.

All other days: $4.50 for grades 8 and below; $7.50 for grades 9 and above.
One chaperone per 10 students is admitted free with chaperone pass provided by the Education Department.

Parking: $10 car / van
$14 per bus


November 1 through December 31, 2008

Monday through Friday only: Free admission with official registration.

The education rate is not valid with any other discount, membership or promotion. Contact the Zoological Society Education Department to register at 414.258.5058, at least four weeks prior to your visit.
