The Zoo is a fascinating world of wild mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. We have something for everyone. Consider hosting your next party, reception, cocktail gathering, business meeting or class reunion in one of our appealing and engaging indoor or outdoor facilities. Your group is sure to feel cool at the Zoo whether they're wearing T-shirts or tuxes!

Indoor Areas

U.S. Bank Gathering Place:
Our newest facility is located in the main entrance of the Zoo. This spacious entry area is a great beginning to your next event, as your chosen caterer provides all seating, including banquet tables, linens, tableware and food service. So, choose a day, and bring your party ideas!

        Rental Fee:
        $1,200

 

Peck Welcome Center:
Newly Renovated
This facility located inside the Zoo grounds, can hold up to 500 guests, it's spacious, with large glass windows, a terrazo floor and high ceilings. We include seating for up to 320 people.

Rental Fee:
$2,000 + $2.00 per person 6 p.m. to Midnight
(Limited daytime rental also available)

 

Zoofari Conference Center:
Newly Renovated
This large hall located outside of the Zoo grounds, has a permanent stage and parquet wood dance floor holding up to 300 guests. We include seating for up to 300 people.

Rental Fee:
Daytime $600 / Evening $1,800 6 p.m. to Midnight

Animal buildings are available for a unique party setting:

Aquatic and Reptile Center:
Accommodates up to 125 guests. Rental Fee: $800

Feline Building:
Accommodates up to 100 guests. Rental Fee: $800

Apes of Africa or Primates of the World:
Accommodates up to 100 each or 250 combined. Rental Fee: $800 each

Note: There are restrictions on music and hours in the animal buildings. Seating is not provided by the zoo in any animal buildings.

Outdoor Picnic Areas

Maple Cove or Oak Grove:
$800 each + per person rate
Each area holds a minimum 500 or 5,000 guests when combined.

Zoo Terrace:
$800 + per person rate
Designed for groups of 350 - 700 guests.

Little Oak:
$500 + per person rate
Designed for groups of up to 300 guests.

Australian Outback:
$600 + per person rate

Brown Bear Den:
$600 + per person rate

All picnic areas are furnished with electricity and water. All building and picnic rentals are by contract and paid deposit only.

Group Rates

The Milwaukee County Zoo welcomes your group to Wisconsin's premiere attraction, with more than 200 acres and 300 animal species. We offer discounted ticket pricing for groups of 20 or more.  Special payment options are available for groups entering by bus.

Group Rates:
— Adult or Senior $10.25
— Child (age 3 to 12) $7.25
— Bus Parking $15

Group Requirements:
— All groups must pre-register or purchase advance tickets two weeks prior to visit.
— Groups must consist of 20 or more.
— No refunds may be given to groups.
