BODY WORLDS: ANIMAL INSIDE OUT
Sponsored by Sendik’s Food Markets

Discover the intricate physiology of the world’s most spectacular creatures in this fascinating new exhibition by BODY WORLDS creator, anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, and curator, Dr. Angelina Whalley. The Milwaukee County Zoo is proud to be the first zoo in North America to host the ANIMAL INSIDE OUT exhibition, which showcases the amazing inner workings of animals: their skeleton foundations, muscles, soft tissues and nervous systems.

ANIMAL INSIDE OUT takes visitors on an “anatomical safari” inside more than 100 specimens, each preserved through the remarkable process of Plastination, invented by Dr. von Hagens. (No animal was harmed or killed for the exhibit.)

BODY WORLDS: ANIMAL INSIDE OUT is designed for visitors of all ages. Dr. von Hagens and Dr. Whalley, creators of ANIMAL INSIDE OUT, hope this exhibition will show visitors the innate similarities between humans and animals, leading to a greater respect and appreciation for all animals.
