All seniors 55 and older receive free admission to the Zoo on their special day, and can enjoy a variety of activities:

  • U.S. Bank Gathering Place
    Wheaton Franciscan Senior Health is proud to highlight its senior offerings! Visit the
    Outreach Booth to meet Wheaton Franciscan personnel. Register for door prizes!
  • Box Lunches: Purchase tickets for $6.75 – Supplies limited. Roast turkey and
    provolone cheese on a wheat bun, pasta salad cup, animal crackers, fresh fruit, chips and soda.
  • Zoomobile Booth
    Fun Walk: 9:30 a.m. Join Wisconsin Senior Olympics for a 1-mile walk through the Zoo.
  • Peck Welcome Center
    Health & Wellness Exhibitors
    Meet these interesting exhibitors, chosen with the needs of seniors in mind, plus take part in health screenings including vision, blood pressure and balance. Complimentary cookies for the first 2,000 visitors.
  • Safari Train Station
    Pickleball sponsored by the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee
    Join us for this fun paddlesport, a cross between tennis and ping pong! Games take place on the hour.
  • Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard at Zoo Terrace
    Entertainment sponsored by San Camillo
    Complimentary ice cream for the first 2,000 visitors.

  • Kohl’s Wild Theater – Professional performers present 15-minute, conservation-themed shows using drama, songs, games and puppetry

    In case of inclement weather, shows will be cancelled; but watch for actors performing impromptu skits around the Zoo.
