HIGHLIGHTS

Stop at the tranquil Aquatic & Reptile Center to see our two Chinese alligators, Ying and Yang.

  • Chinese alligatorThese critically endangered animals usually grow to about 5 feet and can live to be 70 years old.
  • The female, Yin, is about 34 years old, and Yang, is 33.  There are two species of alligators in the world, the Chinese alligator and the American alligator.
  • In the wild, Chinese alligators eat snails, crustaceans, insects, fish, young waterfowl and rodents.

You don’t have to be a kid (or even hide your love for the smell) to enjoy the iconic Mold-a-rama machines at the Zoo!

  • Mold-a-ramas have been a mainstay for decades and there’s no better time to become a collector, as new molds will be featured for the 2020 winter-spring season.
  • Choose from giraffe, reindeer, whale, eagle and a snowman, among others.
  • Join the cool “kids” and start your Mold-a-rama collection during December Family Free Day!
