Egg Day

Hop over to the Milwaukee County Zoo April 3 for Egg Day, sponsored by Habush Habush & Rottier S.C.®, for a fun-filled day to enjoy Easter activities. Here is the egg-cellent enjoyment the Zoo has in store the day before Easter.

Egg Day orangutanGet egg-cited to see the Easter Bunny himself as he travels through the Zoo for a smile and a wave from YOU – his favorite PEEPS! Mr. Bunny will greet visitors from a safe distance on an Easter-themed float as he makes his way through the grounds (10 a.m. to 2 p.m).

Guests can grab a pair of paper bunny ears to mark the occasion and participate in a scavenger hunt with prizes! Click here to download the scavenger hunt.

Take a trip on the North Shore Bank Safari Train to count the number of Easter Eggs hiding along the train route (weather permitting).

While enjoying the animals, be on the lookout for several selfie stations where guests can take a keepsake photo in front of Easter and spring-themed backdrops. The stations are located throughout the Zoo – one will even include a replica of the most famous Bunny of all!

During your visit, animal highlights should include a stop in the Elephant Care Center to see elephants Brittany, Ruth and Belle. The most recent addition, Belle, has integrated into the herd, and visitors will enjoy seeing the three living alongside one another. Keepers spent many months introducing the three elephants to ensure a smooth transition for the animals to live as a cohesive herd. Keepers are encouraged to see all three elephants displaying more natural behaviors which is a positive sign that they’re comfortable in their habitat, and with each other.
