Military & Veterans Family Day

To honor the military, all active and non-active military and their families (up to 10 members) are admitted to the Zoo free as a thank you for their services. Advance tickets are required. Celebrate Independence Day with a trip to the Zoo. All visitors receive a $4 admission rate; the parking fee and regular attraction/concession fees apply.

Prepare to be (not too) scared! Enjoy a haunting time trying to escape the haystack maze, take a ride (if you dare) on the “Raven’s Rail” train and check out hundreds of carved, glowing pumpkins. Trick-or-Treat near your favorite animals too!

Wild Lights

The Zoo transforms into an illuminated world with millions of sparkling lights and glowing animal displays throughout the forests and pathways. Stroll on a tranquil yet festive 1-mile path through the Zoo’s very own snow globe to see a variety of shimmering large-scale animal displays.
