Animal Division: Individual Conservation and Research Projects

Black rhino

Using positive reinforcement, the zookeeprs have trained the black rhinoceros to voluntarily come forward and stand quietly while blood samples are collected. These samples are used in several rhinoceros medical and reproductive studies.
